A Nest Was Created....

I am truly amazed every time I see a bird nest. How they can create these little homes for their eggs is incredible. This one was clearly made with horse hair (it was near a barn), weeds, and grasses. How can they weave something like this so quickly? God's creation is something that never ceases to amaze me.

Goldfinch Mornings

Our backyard was FULL of these delightful yellow finches this past week. I could have watched them all day.

Grilling, butterfly release, and my pretty herb garden. That wraps up the summer thus far!

A Little Bit of Fall

This is our fall thus far. My rose bush is still blooming, the grass is greener than ever, and it was picture time!
I'm not used to Kansas Fall time, they are so different than what I am used to. It has snowed once but melted quickly. Our friend Ethan took our family pictures a week ago. We don't have very many pictures of us together so it turned out nice!

Hope everyone is having a great fall!

Puppy Lovin'

I have never had a dog before, and this week I picked up the most adorable puppy!! We are still debated on names but we both like the name Remi (out of a book). She is a shihpoo- a mix between a Poodle and a Shih Tzu. I am not a poodle fan, but I love these dogs and she is so cute! She will only get to maybe 14 pounds. She is a little cuddle bug and loves to play outside.
