Raspberry Pickin'

This past week I was going through all of my old pictures. I have them backed up on discs and in my "organization" completely forgot what pictures were on what discs. I need to get an external hard drive but in any case I discovered these pictures! These I took a couple of years ago when we went up Boreas Pass to pick raspberries. I have always picked raspberries up in the mountains with my family if we can get there before the bears do!

These are the mountains I love.

Vacation!

We will be headed to Texas in two days! I will be posting pictures after our trip of course. First San Antonio and then on the Corpus Christi and the beach.

The last two pictures I took from a trip there a couple of years ago.
I can't wait for our adventure!

I am also considering doing another book giveaway when I get back. I appreciate any feedback on what type of books you like the most and would want to win!

My Dear Colorado Home

This was just a fun shot while we went to check on the horses.
 Elk that we surprised.
How can I not miss a place like this?

The water had a thin layer of ice on top.
 Moose!
Moose again!!

Wow this place is beautiful and I got to grow up in such a place. I never used to appreciate it as much as I do now.

Kansas Sunset

Before I moved to Kansas I was told that the sunsets here are way better than those in Colorado. Well, in my mind Colorado can do no wrong so I thought this was a stupid thing to say. Now that I have lived here I can say that the sunsets here are amazing. They last forever, much longer than in the mountains. They are more colorful and vibrant.

It's impossible to capture a sunset with a picture, I don't think anyone can honestly capture a sunset without enhancing editing and adding color to a photo.

It's like trying to capture all of God's beauty and it simply can't be done.
