My Thoughts

This is a beautiful Bible! I LOVE that it is large print, that is so nice when I am in deep study. I also love that at the beginning of a new book it explains the historical aspect, the author, and then gives a full outline. There are pictures, but not overwhelming to where it is overboard. There are some great maps in the back that I also enjoy. This is a heavy thick beautiful bonded leather Bible. If you like the King James Version and are looking for a new Bible, this would be an excellent choice!!

My Thoughts

This reminds me a lot of the little Bible I had when I was growing up. Wonderful illustrations for those that love Precious Moments. NKJV Bible which is my favorite and there are even maps in the back. There are some pretty illustrated pages that have prayers for kids within the regular pages of the Bible.
This would make a great Bible for a little one!
Five stars!

My Thoughts

I really wanted to see what all the fuss was about with these new Bibles. I have seen so many things posted about them and how so many people are using them to doodle and write notes. I have to say I LOVE how this Bible is set up. I love the room to write notes (which I do in mine anyway) and how organized it is. The only thing is this Bible is in very small print. I can read it fine but I prefer larger print Bibles, especially for memorization. Otherwise this Bible is beautiful and would make a great gift or if you are wanting more room to write notes or color.
Five stars.

My Review

I really enjoy this Bible. I love how it is laid out, while the words don't change, it's still a Bible folks, but it makes reading it more interactive. There are little blurbs about fun history facts that I never knew and different routes you can take. There is the Flyover Route, Direct Route, and Scenic Route. Flyover consists of 54 readings, while the scenic has 386 readings. I thought it was easy to follow, and they tie in different verses that connect from the Old and New Testament. I also LOVE the maps in the back and the listed "itinerary" so if you get off track on your route you can flip to the back and find where you were at. There is also a bunch of "side trips" that are compiled in the back so if you want to read multiple verses on one topic they are put together so easy to find. I know a lot of times I want to read about certain things but I have no idea where to look, while a concordance is wonderful, this added feature in the Bible itself is nice.
I really like this Bible and the version is NLT (New Living Translation). I think this would be a great Bible for a new believer or someone who has read the Bible for years. If you are in search of something new or trying to read more of the Bible- I highly recommend!!
