My Review
I love reading about other people's lives and stories. This book is not an easy read and many times made me sick to my stomach as people continued to do horrible things to Annie. I can't imagine living her life and it's truly evident that God had plans for her to survive and write this book today.
Annie doesn't make her life seem like a dream or blame all of her bad decisions on other people. She started out innocent and then quickly the money drew her into prostitution. It's interesting because the majority of the book is set in Vegas but I feel like while it's "illegal" it's not seen as bad as long as done in secret. A lot of this book was frustrating to read because she lived an endless cycle but she explains things about that mindset. While I'm sure this book was hard to write she wrote it well and I think it's an incredible story to be heard.
Obviously there are many things in this book that you wouldn't want a very young person to read about. While she isn't explicit- she still has to tell her story.
I highly recommend if you like reading about changed lives for Christ!
