About the Book
In this classic book, Madeleine
L'Engle addresses the questions, What makes art Christian? What does it
mean to be a Christian artist? What is the relationship between faith
and art? Through L'Engle's beautiful and insightful essay, readers will
find themselves called to what the author views as the prime tasks of an
artist: to listen, to remain aware, and to respond to creation through
one's own art. (Goodreads)
My Thoughts
I'll be honest in saying I didn't love this book. I didn't agree with many of the viewpoints and thoughts on Christianity. I think there are some good things to take away but simply said this was not the book for me. I have read many other good reviews and they are good, I just didn't agree with the author and that is okay.
