My Review
This book is rather unique. Set during World War II you read about Rachel and her quest to find her father and save her mother. After arriving in Italy she is on the front lines of the battle taking pictures. This aspect of the story is my favorite part. While we look back at older pictures of the war we don't really think about the fact that someone took that picture and lived! Easily they could have died yet we have these pictures to tell the story. The romance is sweet but predictable. The back story about her father I didn't really enjoy, it was depressing, yet realistic. I loved the setting and the pictures but this is a book I probably wouldn't read again.
If you like World War II history you will enjoy this book.
