My Review
Having read the first two books in this series, Glamorous Illusions, and Grave Consequences, I had to read Glittering Promises. While I love the idea behind these books they have all disappointed. The first book is the best by far, it creates the characters and really makes a good story line. The second two blend into one another on the Grand Tour and they are similar. I did enjoy the ending in the last book, it completes the series and the last few chapters were great. I would not read the books out of order or by themselves, this is a must read in order series to understand what is going on. The same characters and story line carry throughout all of the books.
If you are interested in the Grand Tour this does add a lot of history to that journey many people took at the time. This was not my favorite series, but I did enjoy the historical details.
"I received this book from Litfuse for free in exchange for an honest review."
